It is often the first impression that a potential employer will have of you, and it can make or break your chances of landing the job. In order to make the best impression possible, it is important to follow some key do’s and don’ts. DO address the hiring manager by name. This demonstrates that you have done your research and are truly interested in the company and the position. DO highlight your relevant experience. Use specific examples to show how your skills and accomplishments are applicable to the job you are applying for. DO show enthusiasm for the position and the company.
